
On September 17th, the IE Center for C-Centricity participated in the 21st World Knowledge Forum, the largest annual business event held in Asia by South Korea’s Maekyung Media Group.
Dr. María Eizaguirre, the Academic Director of the Center, led a session on Customer Centricity highlighting that businesses need to reinforce both their customer and consumer focus to ensure satisfying human experiences that drive growth.
This year, the World Knowledge Forum with the title of “Pandenomics Perspective: Shaping New Global Symbiosis” was virtually held from September 16 to 18, and it counted with high-profile speakers include former UK prime minister Theresa May and John Hennessy, chairman of Alphabet, Inc., Google’s parent company; Kevin Sneader, global managing partner of McKinsey & Company, among others.

The World Knowledge Forum was launched in October 2000 after the 1997 Asian financial crisis with the aim to transform Korea into a knowledge-driven nation. Today, it has taken on the role as a platform for discussions to reduce knowledge gaps where over 4,518 global speakers and 49,800 audiences have participated since the first forum
